We Process 8mm & 16mm Film
We lovingly hand process every film that comes through our doors in a range of Lomo developing tanks. We're proud to say we haven't lost a single customer's film since we began trading at the beginning of 2011. We've also been informed by our customers that our hand processing services are better than our machine processing rivals. You'll notice we are rated with a score of 100% on eBay and we aim to keep it that way by offering both colour and black and white processing for Double 8 and Super 8 film at unbeatable prices!
We are something of experts when it comes to reversal processing and our reversal processing standards are excellent. We have been developing all sorts of colour and B&W reversal film for years. We process all colour reversal film in E-6 chemistry and we process all B&W reversal film in D-19 chemistry. If you're not sure whether your 8mm film is E-6 or D-19 compatible please don't hesitate to drop us a message and we can advise.
We began processing 8mm negative film in 2014 and we are extremely happy with both our colour and B&W processing standards. The challenging thing about hand processing negative is getting an even image. We are always striving to eradicate uneven processing and during 2017 we're implementing a new system which should solve the problem all together. All colour negative film is processed in official ECN-2 chemistry and all B&W negative is processed in Xtol chemistry. If you're not sure whether your 8mm film is ECN-2 or Xtol compatible please don't hesitate to drop us a message so we can advise.
We develop 6 films per tank and we run at least two films through our projectors for each tank for quality control. This enables us to keep an eye on the developers effectiveness. Because we develop 6 films per tank we cannot push a single film to increase its exposure.
How to use our Processing Service
Using our processing services couldn't be easier. All you have to do is purchase the amount of film you need processing with the relavent product. For example Ektachrome 100D requires E-6 Processing (but if you're not sure please contact us). Then send us your film to the address on the Postage Page with a note outlining your order number (emailed to you after purchase), name, address and email contact details. After we recieve your film we will process it, dry it and return it to the address specified on the note. It really is that simple.
If you want to watch or edit your films on a computer as as a digital file take a look at the process+scan products and read our Scanning Page for further information. Our scanning services are very versatile and it's offen cheaper to buy a film+process+scan or process+scan as a bundle.
