Shipping Policy
All orders are processed within 24 hours and collected by Royal Mail at around 1pm. Please order before midday if you need your film the following day. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.
Process Only and Scan Only services reflect the costs needed to return your film back to you after we have processed or scanned it. Film + Process and Film + Process + Scan postage prices reflect costs needed to initially post items to you and also redeliver after processing and scanning has been completed. You need to post film back to us at your own cost once you've shot it. We recommend a tracked service.

Delays are more likely around the holidays or when postal strikes are happening. If you require a guaranteed service please get in touch and we can arrange a UPS delivery at extra cost.

Gauge Film Ltd is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please let us know so we can contact Royal Mail to file a claim. Please note that the maximum claim amount for Royal Mail 24 and 48 services is £100. If you need higher levels of insurance please contact us and we can offer you higher postal rates. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Postage Top Ups & Fees
The below postage products only need to be used when you need to top up your postage or if there is a fee to pay. You only need to top up when you return items from a single order in stages. For example if you purchased 12 films with processing and sent back 1 film per month for 12 months you would need to pay for return postage 11 additional times as the original order only covers 1 return. If you returned all 12 films at once then no extra postal charges would be required. You only need to pay an additional postal fee when your film arrives at the lab without enough postage. We cover the fee initially to get the film delivered safely to us so we can process your order. After the work is complete we pass the cost on to the customer.
