B&W Needs to Go!

24/8/2013

Morning everyone, you've all probably noticed that I'm  out of colour reversal. Unfortunately I wont be able to buy in any more colour stock until I shift some B&W. In total I still have around 40 B&W Super 8 carts I need to shift before I can raise the cash for another order from Wittner. I did invest quite a lot in various B&W reversal stocks but it doesn't seem to be selling very well. Anyway I'm hoping you guys and girls will snap them up before the 6th of September (when I go away on holiday) so I can place another order from Wittner. I wont purchase such a large amount of B&W next time as it seems you guys mostly want to work with colour. Obviously I want to sell what you guys want to use. If you could try some B&W out in the meantime that would really help me out however. Hope you're all having a great weekend!

I really want to try you other b/w films (I've used the Tri-x and loved the results) but perhaps you or the people on this blog can assist in helping me pick the best one. I want one to take some b/w film to Vienna, Christmas time, so we're talking snow and very little sunshine! Vienna is known for its beautiful architecture so I'd prefer less grain but it also needs to be suitable for the twinkly lights of the Christmas market. Any suggestions?

Hi again, they are all great tbh. Obviously the Tri-X might work better in low light with it's 200ASA compared to the others but both the adox and orwo are nice fine grain film stocks. Both or either would be suitable for Vienna. Best, Kevin
