FEBRUARY at Gauge Film

So it's a pivotal month. I have listed the Super 8 E100D and Wittner Chrome V50D process paid cartridges at the new prices and I pray they sell. If I can shift the 40 carts of colour this month I'll contact Wittner to figure out how we can take full advantage of the maximum carriage weights next month. That is to say on the next order I want to stuff as many carts in the box as the delivery service allows to help bring down the overall price of the carts in my shop. This should knock a few quid of the current prices. I've been getting free postage from Kodak up until now but with Wittner this is not the case and it adds extra cost. Please ride it out this month and try and purchase as many colour carts as you possibly can from me. If I can sell the x20 V50D & x20 E100D carts I have in atm it will go a long way in aiding me to purchase a larger order at Wittner next month. If all goes well I'll be purchasing a variety of new film stocks from them as well which is an exciting notion.

I've also listed the new Orwo UN 45 for Standard 8 camera users. I have been  so impressed with its reversal qualities I have shot three rolls of the stuff myself and if you're a Standard 8 shooter I fully recommend it!

All in all this very much feels like the make or break month. This month will determine whether I continue purchasing film to sell. If it doesn't go well don't worry I'll still list my Super 8, Double 8 and 16mm processing and telecine services. However it would be a shame to lose film.

Only time will tell Kevin but fingers crossed regarding the future of film.
I have ordered a roll of the ORWO std 8. :).

Best.
John.

100D: Kodak are actively pulling the plugs on film, this is corporate vandalism, it's like Windsor & Newton skipping all their artists' oil colours and stocking only acrylic paints instead, very sad thing to see, dreadful waste of a marvelous emulsion.
